Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

We are, in fact, God’s masterpiece. Merriam Webster defines the word masterpiece as:
1. A work done with extraordinary skill; especially : a supreme intellectual or artistic achievement.
2. A piece of work presented to a medieval guild as evidence of qualification for the rank of master.

In other word, we are made meticulously, carefully and fearfully that there is nothing like us. You are one of a kind.

Therefore, most certainly, we are not faults. Thus, we are not made to do faulty things. We are God’s creation, made to do good works.

Dear friends, do not look on our limitation, on what we don’t have. If we do, trust me, we always feel failed, worse, and useless. That is exactly the devil wants us to feel. He wants us to focus on things we don’t have or on things we’re not good at so we are easily discouraged and lose hope.

Fix our eyes on our maker. On Him who loves us unconditionally, keeps us faithfully, and protect us indefinitely. On Jesus who gave Himself to be slained on the cross as the eternal proof how worthy we are for Him.

If we want to know the value to a piece of work, look who made it. God made us by His own hands. Undoubtedly, we are His masterpiece. (Author: @mistermuryadi, Translator: @dollymuryadi)
